STRONG COLLABORATION AMONG ALN AND ALNA MEMBERS FOR A MAJOR BIOMASS POWER PLANT PROJECT IN KOREA
Logimar (Italy), member of both Africa Logistics Network and Airfreight Logistics Network for Africa, together with Trans Box (China) of ALN and Naru Global Logis (Korea) of ALNA, successfully collaborated on a complex BreakBulk shipment for a biomass power plant in Korea.
The shipment consisted of 10 tubular bundle structures, crucial for the construction of a Cooling Tower, with a total weight of 168 tons and a volume of 1,000 CBM.
The cargo was picked up from Door Shanxi, China, and shipped via BreakBulk vessel from Tianjin to Busan Port, Korea under DDP Incoterms® 2020.
This project was made possible thanks to the strong synergy between three experienced logistics providers:
– Logimar (ALN & ALNA – Italy): Oversaw and coordinated the entire logistics process, ensuring smooth execution across all stages not directly handled by Trans Box and Naru Global Logis.
– Trans Box (ALN – China): Managed all logistics operations in China, including:
- Local handling
- Inland transportation
- Loading, stowage, and ocean freight.
– Naru Global Logis (ALNA – Korea): Handling the final phase of the project in Korea, including:
- Unloading and discharge operations at Busan Port
- Inland delivery to the final destination in Seosan, approximately 120 km south of Seoul
- All local logistics operations.
This successful collaboration between Logimar, Trans Box and Naru Global Logis highlights the strength of ALN and ALNA members in working together to provide seamless logistics solutions across different countries.
