About Us
The world needs knowledge and skills. Logistics needs BAM!
Ten years ago, a small company in Italy founded Africa Logistics Network (ALN), led by Alessandro Saponaro. We did so because we strongly believed in the enormous potential of the African continent.
By “development”, we first and foremost mean the growth and empowerment of African people — which, without hypocrisy, will naturally bring benefits to all world economies.
A few years later, we founded ALNA, originally launched as the Airfreight Logistics Network for Africa. It quickly evolved into a sort of ALN 2 — a sister network that welcomed companies unable to join ALN due to limited availability. This was not our intention.
Then, in 2025, we took a bold step: transforming ALNA into BAM — By All Means, a completely new network.
The logistics industry we refer to is largely made up of small and medium-sized businesses. It increasingly demands professionalism and specialization. Extreme standardization is no longer our playing field. The real challenge for SMEs lies in mastering specific markets, handling exceptional cargo and procedures, and building strong, skilled teams and partnerships.
Our clients are no longer just importers and exporters — they are explorers of new markets.
BAM — By All Means is the evolution of ALNA, going beyond its original scope. It complements Africa Logistics Network, creating an even stronger and more united global logistics community.
