DANTON INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS HANDLES TRANSPORTATION OF 97 BESS UNITS FROM CHINA TO LITHUANIA
Danton International Logistics, member of By All Means (BAM) representing China, successfully handled the transportation of 97 Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) units from Taicang, China to Klaipeda, Lithuania.

Each unit weighed 45 tons and was classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods, loaded into 20HC containers with one unit per container. The cargo was delivered in two batches (67 + 30 units) and collected from the CATL factory in Shandong.
Danton’s team managed all China-side operations, including road permits, inland transportation, DG declaration, port handling at Taicang and export customs procedures, ensuring full compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations.

The project required precise coordination and strong operational control due to the weight of the units and the nature of the cargo. Close collaboration with NATCO Germany, responsible for the ocean freight coordination, ensured a smooth and efficient international transport operation from China to Lithuania.

Danton International Logistics, only for BAM members.
