Rules
BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP CONDITIONS
Acceptance
Companies must complete the Membership Request or Join Us form.
Membership is approved or denied after evaluation; BAM is not required to justify its decision.
Payment of membership fees within 15 days confirms acceptance of all BAM rules, Protection Plan, and Code of Ethics.
Fees are non-refundable, including in cases of resignation or early termination.
Maintenance
Members must:
- Represent only countries where they have offices.
- Avoid promoting non-registered offices.
- Respect confidentiality and privacy of all interactions.
- Provide reliable and timely service to clients and partners.
- Avoid any action that discredits other members or the network.
- Support the development of BAM and share new business opportunities.
- Reply to quotation/information requests within 24 hours.
- Report lack of responses to Management.
- Acknowledge that all transactions are at members’ own risk.
- Verify another member’s status before cooperation.
- Keep company data and special shipment updates current on the BAM portal.
- Inform Management promptly of company changes.
- Authorize BAM to use submitted news and photos for promotional purposes.
Membership Renewal
Renewal is not automatic.
BAM may refuse renewal in cases of rule violations, Code of Ethics breaches, or lack of participation.
Meetings
Annual meetings are a key benefit, allowing members to connect and build relationships.
Non-attendance for two consecutive years may result in cancellation (subject to individual review).
Termination
Membership may be canceled if a member:
- Resigns in writing;
- Violates BAM rules or ethics;
- Provides poor service standards;
- Fails to pay fees or respond to Management;
- Becomes directly involved in the ownership, management, or control of a competing logistics network
- Is not attending two consecutive meetings
Fees remain non-refundable. Former members may not use BAM logos or materials after leaving.
Governing Law
All BAM services and relationships are governed by Italian Law, under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Bergamo.
