LOGIMAR DELIVERS MAJOR LNG TANK PROJECT TO NORTH AFRICA

Logimar, member of By All Means (BAM) representing Italy, successfully completed in October 2025 a complex oversized logistics project for one of its key customers, managing the transportation of heavy equipment from Italy to multiple destinations in North Africa.

The project involved 10 LNG tanks (21 x 4 x 4.3 meters, 52 tons each) and 15 x 40’ Open Top containers, executed in three separate lots to different construction sites.

Together with its local partners, Logimar managed the entire logistics chain, from the manufacturing plant in Bergamo to final delivery, including the positioning of the tanks on concrete plinths.

The LNG tanks were shipped on break bulk vessels, while the open-top cargo was transported on container vessels. Despite infrastructure constraints affecting access to the Port of Chioggia, Logimar successfully identified alternative routes and obtained the required special permits, ensuring the smooth execution of the project.
